Tissot, ctd

Here is the last set of paintings by Tissot.

What Our Saviour Saw from the Cross (1886-1904)

Woman at the Rifle Range (1869)

Young Woman in a Boat (1870)

Young Women Looking at Japanese Objects (1869)

The First Man Killed in the Siege of Paris

The Inn of the Three Ravens

The final three here are paintings of Tissot's mistress (and the love of his life), Kathleen Newton, a divorcée. Tissot's involvement with her caused a minor scandal.

 The Garden Bench (1882)

 Type of Beauty (1880)

Walk in the Snow
